Spent the last 4 weeks in Tanzania, Africa leading and guiding a team from Sandbach, Cheshire. Throughout the 28 days we explored the region from the dry and dusty areas of Ndarakwai to the volcanic slopes of Mt Meru. The expedition comprised on 4 phases, a wildlife project including a safari to the Ngorongoro crater, a mountain phase on which 16 of the 17 clients reached the summit of Mt Meru (4566m).The following phase based in Mosi, a community project at a school/orphanage consisting of building work to improve the quality of provison for the local children. After leaving Mosi the team headed to the Indian Ocean for a well earnt rest on the beach which provided time for reflection on this unique expedition.
