Over the past seven days we have been in Slovenia, running our annual trip, guiding and coaching on the Soca. Throughout the week we paddled many sections ranging from the mellow class two sections to the more challenging class 4 section from Otona. The weather was kind to us, with sun on all days and water levels perfect for the boating we wanted to do.
Many thanks must go out to the clients, Buck, Chris, Jack, Richy, Dave & Chris for making the trip fun, continually entertaining and great to see your paddling inmprove throughout the week.
Next years trips:
Pyrenees - 24th - 31st March 2012
Slovenia - 6th - 13th June 2012
To be honest I was blown away by the trip, I got so much from it and learnt so much from Lee and Gavin that I won't be forgetting, if anything made me more hungry for the sport. Lee and Jo made us feel very at ease and nothing was to much trouble, from your chosen accommodation, the great diversity and well planned meals. Even after two days in we were talking about the next trip next year.... Lol. So Pyrenees next year and we're looking to head back to beautiful Soca also on our own. Once again to you both thanks for a great holiday!! Chris Boucher
ReplyDeleteAnother fabulous week in Slovenia, we paddled grades 2-4 at excellent levels with superb coaching from Lee and Gavin. If you haven't been then the longest shuttle is 15 minutes from base in Zaga and it is inexpensive to buy stuff, 3 large lagers for 5.90 euros. Jo was splendid on the meals and catering, we had a great crew on the week and we smiled and grinned through the week.
ReplyDeleteAs Chris said above roll on the Pyrennes.
Thanks guys for a brilliant holiday and see you soon

Well I haven't laughed so much for so long, the paddling was pretty good too.
ReplyDeleteA fantastic week, great paddling, company, food, and accommodation.
The coaching was top notch, thanks Lee and Gavin.
Will also be on the Pyrennes trip in 2012, deposit on its way.....
Big thanks to Lee, Jo and Gavin.
